# parameter_invalid

> A parameter has an invalid value.

| Status | Type |
| - | - |
| `400` | `invalid_request_error` |

A parameter has a value the endpoint doesn't accept. A wrongly typed string or
number gets [`parameter_invalid_string`](https://docs.nova.net/errors/parameter_invalid_string) or
[`parameter_invalid_integer`](https://docs.nova.net/errors/parameter_invalid_integer) instead.

Examples:

* a value outside an allowed set
* an array with too few or too many items
* the same value repeated within one request where it must be unique, reported
  in `invalid-params`
* a malformed `X-Organization-Id` header
* an unknown vehicle ID, or a vehicle with no bank account for payouts

## How to fix

`invalid-params[].reason` explains what is wrong with each value.

A vehicle with no bank account for payouts needs Nova support to set one up.
After that, send the request with a new `Idempotency-Key`.
