# Organization

> The firm your integration acts for

An organization is the firm that manages [vehicles](https://docs.nova.net/types/vehicle.md) and their
[financial accounts](https://docs.nova.net/types/financial-account.md), and keeps a directory of
[entities](https://docs.nova.net/types/entity.md) and [contacts](https://docs.nova.net/types/contact.md).

Every request acts on one organization. Send its ID in the
`X-Organization-Id` header, unless your access token is bound to one
organization or your integration has access to exactly one.
