Creating a distribution through the API publishes it right away, so it starts
as published. Creating it records the notifications without sending emails;
payment emails can still go out later as money moves. Use sender_url to
manage it in the Nova dashboard.
Status
Each status has a matching timestamp:
published_at, approved_at,
executed_at and cancelled_at. Each is null until the distribution
reaches that status.
A distribution’s status does not track money movement. Use each payment’s
status, and its
transactions, for that.
Dates
distribution_date is when the distribution pays out, in
distribution_timezone. A payment can override it with its own
distribution_date_override. See ZonedDateTime.
