A financial account belongs to one vehicle (veh_) and holds money at a partner bank. Its entries are listed as transactions.

Type

`type`	Meaning
`depository`	Holds cash
`brokerage`	Holds treasury investments, such as a money market fund. Its balances include the invested position as well as cash

Balance

All amounts are integers in the smallest currency unit, e.g. cents.

Field	Meaning
`total`	Ledger balance plus outgoing wires and ACH pushes the bank has not debited yet
`available`	`total` minus pending debits, plus pending credits
`pending_debit`	Outgoing payments and holds that have not settled
`pending_credit`	Incoming transfers that have not settled
`total_end_of_last_month`	`total` at the end of last month

Reconciling with transactions

Each transaction’s balance is the bank’s running ledger balance after that entry. total can be higher than the newest transaction’s balance while outgoing payments are pending at the bank; the two match again once they settle.
